1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions apply to the contest organized by Pomelo Technology Canada Ltd., operating under the brand LemFi, a licensed and regulated financial service provider in Canada.

This promotion aims to encourage the use of LemFi, a secure and fee-free app for sending money from Canada to Africa.

By entering the “Win 50 CAD for you or a loved one in Africa” contest, participants fully and unconditionally agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Contest Description

Two (2) winners will each receive 50 CAD, totaling 100 CAD, to send to a loved one in Africa or to receive directly via the LemFi app.

3. Participation Period

The contest runs from April 16 to April 21, 2025, at 11:59 PM (local time).

Winners will be selected at random and announced on April 22, 2025 at midnight via Instagram story.

4. How to Enter

To participate in the contest, you must:

• Like the contest post on Instagram
• Tag two (2) friends in the comments to introduce them to LemFi
• Create a LemFi account (if new) using a promo code
• Make at least one (1) money transfer via LemFi to an African country between April 16 and April 21, 2025
• Send a screenshot of your transfer confirmation or transaction history (with the date visible) via DM to the contest organizer’s Instagram account

You may blur personal information — only the date and proof of transfer are required.

Share the contest post in your Instagram story, tag the organizer, and double your chances of winning!

5. Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible, participants must:

• Be 18 years or older
• Reside in Canada
• Have a verified LemFi account
• Complete all participation steps during the contest period

A verified LemFi account means that your profile has passed the identity verification (KYC) process, which typically includes submitting a valid government-issued ID and a proof of address.

6. Prize

The 2 winners will each receive 50 CAD, transferred via LemFi. They may choose to receive the money themselves or send it to a loved one in Africa.

7. Prize Conditions

• The winner must have made a valid transfer to an African country during the contest period
• There is no minimum amount required — even a 1 CAD transfer qualifies
• The prize will be sent via LemFi and may require recipient details

8. Exclusions

The following individuals are not eligible to participate:

• LemFi employees or subcontractors
• Influencers paid for this campaign
• Anyone who does not meet all participation criteria

Each participant may enter only once (based on a unique LemFi ID).

9. Disqualification

LemFi reserves the right to disqualify any entry in case of:

• Fraud
• Rule violations
• Duplicate accounts
• Attempts to manipulate the outcome

10. Disclaimer

LemFi is not responsible for:

• Technical issues or failed submission attempts
• Incomplete or incorrect participant information
• Malfunctions related to third-party social media platforms

11. Data Protection

Participant data will only be used for administering the contest and will be deleted within 30 days of the winner's announcement. No data will be sold or shared.

12. Governing Law

This promotion is subject to the laws of the participant's country of residence. In case of a dispute, the competent courts of the participant's country will have jurisdiction.
