Terms and Conditions for LemFi Europe Affiliate Programme 2026
1. OVERVIEW
1.1. The following terms and conditions (the "Affiliate Terms & Conditions") govern the terms under which compensation may be earned by enrolled LemFi Affiliates ("Affiliate") as part of the LemFi Affiliate Programme (the "Affiliate Programme"). These Affiliate Terms & Conditions apply to all enrolled Affiliates operating in Europe in 2026.
1.2. The Affiliate Programme is open to any individual with meaningful reach — it is not limited to students. Eligible Affiliates include community organisers, content creators, diaspora network leads, and other individuals capable of driving sign-ups at scale across Europe.
1.3. By accepting an offer to participate in the Affiliate Programme and using a LemFi-issued referral code in that capacity, the Affiliate agrees to be bound by these Affiliate Terms & Conditions. These terms are drafted in English and govern all aspects of the Affiliate's engagement.
1.4. In the event of any conflict between these Affiliate Terms & Conditions and any general LemFi referral or promotional terms, these Affiliate Terms & Conditions shall take precedence for enrolled Affiliates.
2. AFFILIATE COMPENSATION
2.1. Affiliates will receive compensation structured as follows during each active engagement month:
(a) Monthly Base Retainer — Sliding Scale: Base pay is not a flat fee. It scales with the number of sign-ups delivered in the engagement month as follows:
0–19 sign-ups (reviewed at Day 14): €0 — Affiliate dropped. No compensation payable.
20–34 sign-ups: €50 partial base pay.
35–49 sign-ups: €100 base pay.
50+ sign-ups (on target): €200 full base pay.
(b) Per Transacting Referral Bonus: €10 for each Qualifying Transacting Referral (as defined in clause 2.3) generated during the engagement month, payable on top of the base retainer.
(c) Milestone Bonuses: Additional bonuses payable where the Affiliate exceeds the 50 sign-up target in the engagement month, as follows:
Tier 1 — 60+ sign-ups: \+€30
Tier 2 — 75+ sign-ups: \+€50 (cumulative: €80)
Tier 3 — 100+ sign-ups: \+€75 (cumulative: €155)
Tier 4 Elite — 150+ sign-ups: \+€120 (cumulative: €275)
The milestone bonus is based solely on the highest threshold reached in the month. Only one milestone payment applies per engagement month.
2.2. The minimum number of sign-ups required for any base pay to be triggered is 20 sign-ups in the engagement month. Affiliates who reach 20–34 sign-ups receive €50 partial pay. Affiliates below 20 sign-ups at the two-week performance gate (clause 5) receive zero compensation and are dropped immediately.
2.3. A "Qualifying Transacting Referral" means a new LemFi customer ("Referee") where all of the following conditions are satisfied:
(i) the Referee has no prior LemFi account and is not an existing user of the LemFi Service;
(ii) the Referee downloads and registers on the LemFi App using the Affiliate's unique referral code;
(iii) the Referee successfully completes a minimum single money transfer of €100 from their LemFi account to any eligible recipient (other than themselves) within 30 calendar days of the date of sign-up;
(iv) the money transfer is permitted by the LemFi App from the relevant country; and
(v) the money transfer complies with LemFi's General Terms and Conditions of Services.
2.4. Non-transacting sign-ups — where a Referee registers using the Affiliate's referral code but does not complete a qualifying transaction within 30 days — the affiliate does not earn the per-referral bonus. They do, however, count toward the Affiliate's total sign-up count for the purposes of base pay tier and milestone calculations.
2.5. All compensation will be paid to the Affiliate's nominated bank account or LemFi account within 14 days of the end of the engagement month, following verification of qualifying referrals by LemFi. Compensation is not transferable, refundable, or exchangeable for any other form of payment.
2.6. LemFi reserves the right to withhold or claw back compensation where referrals are subsequently found to be fraudulent, duplicated, or in breach of these terms.
3. AFFILIATE OBLIGATIONS
3.1. During each engagement month, the Affiliate agrees to:
(i) actively promote LemFi to eligible new users using only the referral code and materials provided or approved by LemFi;
(ii) work towards a target of 50 sign-ups per month, of which a reasonable proportion should be Qualifying Transacting Referrals;
(iii) submit a weekly check-in report to the designated LemFi contact, including sign-up counts, outreach activities undertaken, and any issues encountered;
(iv) attend any mandatory onboarding or training sessions required by LemFi prior to commencement of the engagement; and
(v) conduct all affiliate activities in compliance with applicable laws, LemFi's brand guidelines, and these Affiliate Terms & Conditions.
3.2. Affiliates must not:
(i) make any representation about LemFi's products or services that is false, misleading, or not authorised in writing by LemFi;
(ii) offer any personal financial incentive to individuals to sign up to LemFi beyond what is disclosed in LemFi's standard user-facing referral materials;
(iii) use automated tools, bots, or any artificial means to generate sign-ups or referrals; or
4. TWO-WEEK PERFORMANCE GATE & EARLY TERMINATION
4.1. All Affiliates are subject to a mandatory performance review at Day 14 of each engagement month (the "Two-Week Gate"). The Two-Week Gate is a hard threshold with no exceptions.
4.2. An Affiliate who has generated fewer than 20 sign-ups by Day 14 of the engagement month will be dropped from the programme. No compensation of any kind — including base pay, transacting bonuses, or milestone bonuses — will be payable to an Affiliate terminated under this clause. This applies regardless of the number of transacting referrals generated prior to termination.
4.3. An Affiliate flagged as at risk of the Two-Week Gate will receive a formal written warning at Day 7 of the engagement month if they have fewer than 8 sign-ups at that point. The warning does not prevent termination under clause 4.2 if the 20 sign-up threshold is not met by Day 14.
4.4. The Two-Week Gate and the zero-compensation clause in clause 4.2 will be explicitly stated in the Affiliate's engagement agreement, which must be signed before the commencement of any engagement month. By signing the engagement agreement, the Affiliate acknowledges and accepts these terms without reservation.
4.5. LemFi will maintain a pipeline of replacement Affiliates for each country to be onboarded in the event of early terminations under this clause.
5. ENGAGEMENT PERIOD & RENEWAL
5.1 Each Affiliate engagement is for a period of one calendar month. The engagement commences on the first day of the relevant month and concludes on the last day of that month unless terminated earlier.
5.2. At the end of each engagement month, LemFi will review the Affiliate's performance. Renewal of the engagement is at LemFi's sole discretion and subject to the Affiliate having achieved a minimum of 35 sign-ups during the engagement month. Affiliates who do not meet this minimum will not ordinarily be offered renewal, though LemFi retains discretion to renew in exceptional circumstances.
5.3. LemFi will notify the Affiliate of its renewal decision within 5 business days of the end of the engagement month.
5.4. The 50 sign-up target in clause 3.1(ii) is a target only and does not constitute a guaranteed minimum obligation. However, failure to meet the 35 sign-up renewal threshold in clause 5.2 will ordinarily result in non-renewal, and failure to meet the 20 sign-up Two-Week Gate in clause 4.2 will result in immediate termination with no compensation.
6. TERMINATION
6.1. LemFi may terminate an Affiliate's engagement immediately and without notice where:
(i) the Affiliate fails the Two-Week Gate under clause 4.2;
(ii) the Affiliate breaches any obligation set out in clause 3;
(iii) LemFi reasonably suspects fraudulent activity in connection with the Affiliate's referrals;
(iv) the Affiliate engages in conduct harmful to LemFi's reputation or brand; or
(v) the Affiliate breaches LemFi's General Terms and Conditions of Services.
6.2. Either party may terminate the engagement on 7 days' written notice without cause. Compensation earned and verified up to the date of termination will be paid in accordance with clause 2.5, subject to the zero-compensation rule in clause 4.2 where applicable.
6.3. Upon termination or expiry, the Affiliate must immediately cease using the LemFi referral code and any LemFi-branded materials.
7. PROGRAMME RESTRICTIONS
7.1. Only one LemFi account registration per Referee will be accepted. Subsequent registrations by the same Referee do not qualify as valid referrals.
7.2. A Referee who is an existing LemFi user does not constitute a valid referral and no compensation will be payable in respect of that Referee.
7.3. LemFi reserves the right to void any referral or withhold compensation where the referral appears fraudulent, the Affiliate has used multiple identities or duplicate accounts, or the referral otherwise violates these terms.
7.4. LemFi reserves the right to limit the number of individuals per household eligible to count as Qualifying Transacting Referrals.
8. PROGRAMME AMENDMENTS
8.1. LemFi reserves the right to amend these Affiliate Terms & Conditions, including compensation rates, performance targets, and milestone thresholds, at any time. Where material changes are made, LemFi will provide at least 7 days' written notice to enrolled Affiliates. Qualifying referrals completed before the effective date of any change will be honoured under the terms in force at the time of completion.
8.2. LemFi reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Affiliate Programme in its entirety at any time, with reasonable notice provided to enrolled Affiliates where practicable.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
9.1. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LEMFI'S MAXIMUM AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO AN AFFILIATE UNDER THESE AFFILIATE TERMS & CONDITIONS SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE TOTAL COMPENSATION VERIFIED AND PAYABLE TO THAT AFFILIATE IN RESPECT OF THE RELEVANT ENGAGEMENT MONTH. FOR THE AVOIDANCE OF DOUBT, WHERE AN AFFILIATE IS TERMINATED UNDER CLAUSE 4.2 (TWO-WEEK GATE), LEMFI'S LIABILITY IS €0.
9.2. LEMFI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE AFFILIATE PROGRAMME.
10. DATA & PRIVACY
10.1. All personal data collected in connection with the Affiliate Programme shall be processed in accordance with LemFi's Privacy Policy (lemfi.com). Affiliates consent to LemFi processing their personal data for the purposes of administering the Affiliate Programme, verifying referrals, and making compensation payments.
11. OTHER TERMS
11.1. These Affiliate Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between LemFi and the Affiliate in respect of the Affiliate Programme and supersede any prior representations or agreements.
11.2. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

12. JURISDICTION
12.1. These Affiliate Terms & Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any claims or disputes.
